Chris has taken his musical influences, from indie & punk to techno, acid & trance, combined them with care and brought together a finely developed and diverse, while eminently coherent album. Discard your preconceptions - To name this trance, acid, techno or merely dance would do a great disservice to this CD.

Chris is one of the three Liberator DJ’s, whose Stay Up Forever Collective labels form the backbone of the London underground techno scene. His Dj’ing takes him to the Four Corners of the earth.

It’s a rare moment when Chris can be found in the country without a gig to play, a track to produce or remix or a record review to write. It’s this dedication to the music and the club/free party scene that he helped create, that has found him, despite never having played Ministry, Cream or other "super clubs", being regularly placed in Top 100 DJ’s in the world.

He also records under a range of pseudonyms (on his own and with other producers such as D.A.V.E. The Drummer, DDR, Paul Harding and Guy McAffer) which include Ha-lo, Creeper, Cosmic Trigger and Star Power. He was responsible for the massive acid techno anthem ‘London Acid City’ as Lochi with Lawrie Immersion (#3 in Muzik Magazine’s 50th issue Club Classics CD).

His studio output can be found in the present and back catalogue of every other self respecting label in the genre including Solid, Prolekult, Noom, Boscaland, TEC, 12" Monkeys & Eukatech- such is the demand for his high standard of work. His production skills range from hard acid and techno through to funky house and trance. He is supremely modest and seems unaware (or maybe just unaffected)by the devotion he inspires.
