4 X 4 is a techno imprint  Set up by Mara Branco (aka DJ Bruiser of Sao Paulo, Brazil) of Dragon Discs in Camden and Julian Sandell aka Julian Liberator long time DJ and underground techno producer.4x4 offers on each release 4 cuts of percussive loop driven techno, from hard to deep, funky to clanking. Expect also input and collaboration with producers from both East and Western Europe on future releases.

Branco and Sandell opened the roster with the Clashing Sounds EP, one piece of vinyl which is truly four-track driven, since then releases have come from a variety of producers including Spain's Christian Varela (4x4x7) and Chicago's Mark Verbos (4x4x8)
