The
Quiet Storm mix is the full on vocal, with great
lines like, "I gave you the best two weeks of my
life".
Its got more energy
then a rabbit on heat and packs a punch stronger then a kick
from a buck hare. It’s great. Its got epic bits in all
the right places. Its funky but banging, smart yet casual.
The 2000 AD
Mix is the dub - It chops up, sucks up and spits out just
a few of the vocals.
It has a more
chugging vibe, sneaking in by the back door and lurching up
to the dancefloor for a bit of a subdued shoulder dance. The
remixes are by the Untidy Dub boys and TEC’s
own Lectrolux and Panik. The Untidy Dub
is a bone snapping, pelvis grinding, chugger that sounds like
someone grinding pepper over a red hot chilli. Its very funky,
its got high hats swinging further then a pair of bell bottoms
and its cooler then a deep frozen polar bear on a lollipop
stick, swimming in the North Sea in January. The Lectrolux
and Panik mix steps the whole thing up a pace, vocals
are repetitive and hit home harder. Breakdowns are spookier
and the feel is darker and tougher. This is for when you really
have had enough of your lying toe-rag partner and can’t
find the spirit to laugh about it anymore - Just do one mate.
